The name
A sortie is one vehicle, one mission, one return. Each unit is meant to work that way: out to a work site, through the day's exams and testing, then back to base.
Ryan Harwood
Ryan Harwood runs Sortie and comes from the contracts side of aerospace. In healthcare, Ryan built practice automation software (HIPAA Agents), a clinical dictation app (HIPAA Dictate), and a medical billing company, A-Z Medical Billing and Consulting. Current work includes running digital operations for a four-location occupational medicine group in Hawaii.
Las Vegas and Hawaii
Sortie is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Unit 01 is being designed. The design partner is an occupational medicine group operating four clinics in Hawaii, and their clinics are the model for the unit's layout.
